Summer Fun Ideas!

Summer is officially here! Happy summer to everyone. Just wanted to pass along a few fun uses for the adaptive equipment you may already own. Bath chairs/toileting systems that are on wheels are super fun when rolled through a sprinkler on a smooth flat surface. It is also highly motivating to walk that gait trainer through the sprinkler too! Just make sure to dry the equipment if it is metal, so it doesn’t rust. The wrap around bath chairs, like the Snug Seat Minnow, make great supports for playing in small plastic kiddie pools or sand boxes. Adult supervision is still required. These bath chairs also provide support for fine motor skill development and exploration.   Summer is here and one of our favorite therapy tools is easily found and very reasonable priced.
